Campers Village wants to help you go on an adventure this summer!
We want to take the difficulty out of getting outside and enjoying nature, whether that's with a pair of hiking boots, trail runners, or a kayak. Announced today, the Summer Adventure Series features 7 guided events throughout the summer in Alberta, hosted by Campers Village in conjunction with experienced guides, working to get you outside into nature. The best part, aside from the charity fun-run, the rest of the adventures are FREE to attend!

Bring the family out to this all-ages adventure at Chickakoo Lake recreation area on May 10th. We'll be going on a short 45 minute hike, led by guide Keri Bowzaylo, before ending with a bonfire and smores! Details and register by clicking here.
Trail run for a good cause! We partnered with Barber Ha, Biera, and Patagonia to raise funds for Free Footie, an Edmonton charity that provides free soccer to kids who may not otherwise be able to afford to participate in organized sports. This 5 km route through Mill Creek is the perfect casual run to step into Spring. Registration is $25, and includes one drink at Biera after the run. Click here for more details and to register.
The family-friendly vibes continue with our family hike in Kananaskis on June 8th, led by guide, Lynda Pianosi. We'll be trekking to Troll Falls, a 3.4 km return hike with a modest 150 metres of vertical. It's a great intro hike for the younger ones, and a great chance for some family time. A summer spent on the water is a summer well spent! We're bringing our demo fleet and reps from some of our top paddling brands to Rundle Park in Edmonton on June 15th from 10 am to 3 pm. We'll have some of our most popular kayaks available to test on the water, be offering tips, tricks and insights for beginners, and more! Drop in anytime between 10 am and 3 pm to learn some kayaking basics, or just to test out the latest models if you're a paddle-head who knows it all.
The most advanced of our Mountain Adventures is presented by Icebreaker, and will see hikers tackle Folding Mountain just outside of Hinton, led by our guide, Keri Bowzaylo. This 16 kilometre return hike involves over 1,000 metres of vertical climbing to the false summit, with the reward being some of the most breathtaking views imagineable! Folding Mountain Brewing plays host as the post-hike stop for some well-earned food and refreshements back at the base of the trailhead. Click here for more details and to register.

Hit the ground running with this novice-friendly trail run. We'll be running somewhere between 6 and 8 km on some beautiful, rolling foothill trails, led by guide and running expert, Keri Bowzaylo. Click here for event details and to register.
Our next Mountain Hiking Adventure is presented by The North Face, as our guide, Keri Bowzaylo takes lucky attendees on the Barrier Lake trail in Kananaskis, a gorgeous 9.6 km return hike with enough of a climb to get to some amazing viewpoints, but not so much that the challenge takes the fun out of the adventure. We're going to take advantage of Alberta's long summer days with this one - join us for a brisk hike up Prairie Mountain in the evening, led by Keri Bowzaylo. There will be demos available from Deuter, Salomon & Mountainsmith, so this will be the perfect event to test out a new backpack, hikers and hiking poles! Led by Keri Bowzaylo, this 8.4 km return hike will give you a renewed appreciation of the immense beauty of the Alberta Rockies.
